This page explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on eventpixel.eu, why we use them, and how you can change your choice at any time.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They are used, for example, to remember your login or your preferences. In addition to cookies we also use the so‑called browser local storage (localStorage) for similar purposes — in this document we refer to it collectively as „cookies".
2. Which cookies we actually use on eventpixel.eu
On publicly accessible pages (without login) we currently do not use any cookies. Cookies are set exclusively when logging into one of the protected sections:
- eventpixel_admin — login to the EventPixel administration. Essential, for the internal team only. Duration: for the logged‑in session, expires upon logout or closing the browser.
- eventpixel_portal — login to the client portal for corporate customers. Essential for the portal’s operation. Duration: for the logged‑in session.
- eventpixel_creator — login to the portal for influencers and content creators. Essential for the portal’s operation. Duration: for the logged‑in session.
All three cookies are so‑called strictly necessary — without them login to the respective section would not work. According to Section 109 of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications they do not require your consent, only an informational obligation, which we fulfill hereby.
3. Consent that we remember in your browser
When you make your choice regarding cookies on the banner, we store it in your browser (local storage, key ep_cookie_consent) so that we do not have to ask you again during your next visit. This choice remains solely in your browser and on your device — we do not send it to any external server or third party.
4. Statistical and marketing cookies
We do not use any third-party statistical (analytical) or marketing cookies on eventpixel.eu – no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or similar tools. Traffic is measured with our own cookie-less measurement without any identifier in your browser: for one day the server derives an anonymous hash from the IP address and browser type, which cannot be traced back to a specific person and changes the next day. Such measurement does not require consent, so the bar at the bottom of the page is informational only. If we ever deploy a tool that requires consent, we will update this document and ask for your consent.
5. How to change your choice
Since we do not use any optional cookies, there is nothing to configure. The necessary login cookies are removed when you log out or clear the site data in your browser.
6. Cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies at any time directly in your browser settings. Please note that blocking necessary cookies will prevent login to the client portal, content creator portal, or administration portal.
