We're Launching a Charity Run in Bratislava — Here's How We Give Back
At EventPixel, we've spent years helping companies create events that bring people together. This time, we decided to take it a step further and organize an event of our own with a clear purpose — to help. We're preparing a Charity Run in Bratislava, a sports event open to companies, teams, and individuals alike, with proceeds going to support a chosen charitable cause.
Why we decided to organize our own run
Over years of working on dozens of corporate events, we've seen the power of a shared experience — how it brings people together, motivates them, and opens up conversations that rarely find room in the daily work grind. We wanted to put that power to use beyond our regular agency work and create an event that has real purpose behind the experience.
We chose running deliberately — it's a sport without barriers. It's just as open to an experienced runner as to someone taking their first few kilometers in years, in the pleasant surroundings of Bratislava, alongside colleagues or friends.
What the event will look like
We're planning the Charity Run as an open event for the general public as well as corporate teams — with a route through some of Bratislava's most attractive areas, a starter pack for every participant, and a supporting program for families and children. The day will also include space for networking among the event's corporate partners.
The full proceeds from registration fees and any additional contributions will go toward supporting a chosen charitable cause. We'll announce the specific partner and focus area in the next phase of planning — we want to be sure the help goes where it will have a real, measurable impact.
How you can get involved
- As a runner — individually or as part of a company team, on the main route or a shorter family-friendly one
- As a corporate partner — by supporting the event through sponsorship or by entering your own company running team
- As a volunteer — by helping out on the day of the event itself
Why companies should get involved in charity events
Corporate participation in a charity sports event has a double effect — it strengthens team cohesion among employees while giving corporate social responsibility (CSR) a concrete, visible dimension. That's exactly why we enjoy helping companies get involved in initiatives like this as part of their own CSR programs.
Follow our progress
We'll be announcing the exact date, route, and event partner gradually, both in this magazine and on our social media channels. If your company is interested in a partnership or entering a company team, get in touch through our contact form — we'd be happy to tell you more.
We believe that together we can turn this run into an event whose meaning extends far beyond the finish line.
